Missing Child Found

Here is the story of missing child Claire Cooney.

Story of a Missing Child

The above link will take you to the interview Renee Brewer did with Nashville Fox 17 about missing child Claire Cooney. Basically, we got the call March 2, 2017 about a missing little girl. The sobbing woman on the phone said “you don’t require a thousand dollar retainer?” I said tell me what is going on.  After learning that Claire Cooney had been taken by her birth mother and her criminal boyfriend who ran to avoid  prison, I got interested. The distraught grandmother tried to control her emotions while she told me about Claire. One hour later I was in Dickson Tennessee not sure if I would get paid or not but the woman sounded legit. As I was driving around the Dickson hotels, the grandmother called back to tell me that someone just called 911 to report a possible endangered child in Centerville Tennessee. So I hurried down to that location. I heard the story that Becky from Becky’s thrift store told the police. After listening to the concerned store owner, I went and made a hundred flyers complete with 4 pages of color photos. I began passing those out all over Hickman and Dickson counties. Then I went home late and began running crisscross background checks on both Miranda Cooney and Jonathan Dennis Bromen. I found each of them had family in several parts of Tennessee. We posted PI’s on the relatives to watch for activity. I set up a website while one of my great investigators, Sabrina, pulled together a press conference. We received several tips which led us to Tellico Plains Tennessee. We stayed in that area for three days passing out flyers and receiving tips. Finally, after a snow storm, Jon, Miranda and Claire walked out of the woods. They were hold up in an old gold miners campground at Coker Creek Tennessee, right next to Tellico Plains. They told Claire they were walking to town because the battery on the vehicle was dead. They had been walking for 2.8 miles when they were found. The nearest town was Tellico Plains at 11 miles but they were walking towards Ducktown on Hwy 68 which was 23 miles away. When we found the Trailblazer, it had been driven deep into the woods and stuck between trees. The rangers had to cut down trees to get the vehicle out of the Cherokee National Forest. The vehicle started right up without any need for a battery jump. They had no intention of using the vehicle again because they knew we would be looking for it.

I do not understand this bizarre behavior from any person. Claire did not have on any undergarments. She had not changed clothes or taken a bath in 10 days. Jon dyed her hair black and left the dye in the hair. When Claire bathed on March 13, 2017 at 1:00AM, the bath water was black from chemical hair dye.

One big issue that has come up for me is the fact that Miranda Cooney is not facing any charges. What is going to stop these women from falsely accusing the men of inappropriate conduct in order to take the child? I am going to be contacting some members of congress to discuss changing the law.

Miranda Cooney took a child from her home in Minnesota to run from authorities with a violent criminal. The missing child was 5 years-old, she had a birthday during the month she was gone. Claire, the missing child, had severe diarrhea shortly after “moving to the mountain” so she ran out of undergarments in the first couple of days. She had to use a bucket to relieve herself. Claire said no matter how many blankets they laid upon her, Claire could not get warm. This is child abuse at it’s finest. Miranda may need some professional guidance.

Tracking Laws

Aside

Tennessee State Code TCA 39-13-606 allows for a vehicle to be tracked if all registered owners of the vehicle have consented. Many times a client is not able to legally track a spouse or partner’s vehicle. If you are looking for a way to legally track someone there are a few options. Currently there are no laws in place to address tracking a cell phone with an app. Iphone has a FindAFriend app that can be turned on and off by user at anytime.  We have found FindAFriend is not accurate, many times it will show the phone up to a mile away from its actual location. If you are experiencing this flaw in the system, refresh the app, maybe see if the person will text you back so the app can pick up a more accurate location. Find My IPhone is app that have found to be accurate. However, a person must have access to the password on someone’s ICloud account to use Find My IPhone. Another option is to track your own vehicle then trade vehicles with your partner. We had one case where the husband traded vehicles with his wife telling her he was going out of town. He told his wife that since her car was better on gas he preferred taking her car. Also he could make sure it was driving correctly and get an oil change. Further, at the appropriate time, the husband called his brother, had his brother three way call the wife, making the wife think her husband was far away at his brothers’s house. As soon as she thought her husband was far away she drove to her paramour’s residence.  She was very shocked when she returned home to find her husband waiting with a video of her activities in hand. The penalty for tracking someone’s vehicle is pretty stiff so don’t track it unless you own it.

Surveillance Spook

So we are working a case at a small Pub in Nashville. In small places we usually  hang out by the restrooms. We are sitting directly behind a couple at the bar. We are not engaging them, they are engaging us. The bearded man and the short blond tell everyone they are from Texas. For some reason they keep driving this home for the other patrons. The couple seems off a little, maybe paranoid. What I know is, the two kept turning all the way around to look at us. My partner said my shoes gave us a way, white tennis shoes. For some reason the couple gets nervous. The bearded man gets up puts cash on the bar, then heads for the back of the bar where the darts are located. Then the female gets up to go the restroom leaving her cell phone on the bar but taking her purse. My partner said, she must be leaving, she is taking her purse. Well she entered the ladies room at 9:40 pm according to our video surveillance. At 9:47 pm, I went in the ladies room and the blonde female was gone. There is just no way out without coming right past us, I thought. I must be wrong because that little Texas filly just gave us the slip. Although she had no reason to do so. The only thing we can figure is she came out of ladies room then ducked under the hinged bar counter top, kept low to the floor then headed out towards the back where bearded man went a few minutes earlier. After laughing at the fact the couple was not on our radar but split out of there like we were the cops and they had outstanding warrants, we looked for these two people. We could not find them. It was quite funny as well as a learning experience about human behavior.

Divorce Attorney Nashville

Finding a Divorce Attorney in Nashville Tennessee can be difficult at best. When a person is feeling emotional due to the divorce finding a good attorney is important. When you call a divorce attorney’s office an appointment is usually scheduled to discuss the matter. Once in front of an attorney it can be difficult to discern if the attorney is going to handle your case according to your wishes. A good idea is to call around to people you trust and find out which attorneys are recommended. If you want to know which Divorce Attorney in Nashville I would recommend, I have listed the two I trust below:
